Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) is a single by the Spice Girls. This would be the last time that The Spice Girls released as single as a quintet. This was the last Spice Girls song to feature Victoria Beckham and Mel C.

A 30-second clip of the song premiered on Amazon.com on October 21, 2007. It was premiered simultaneously by radio stations across the UK on October 23, 2007 at 7:40am. The song was leaked online on October 22, several hours before the radio premiere. According to The Sun, the group's label EMI asked online site YouTube to remove the audio recording.

They performed this on BBC1's Children in Need (UK) on the 16th November 2007 on the Dancing with the Stars stage. They also performed this on Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2007 (US) on the 16th November 2007.

On the October 15, 2007 episode of Dancing with the Stars, it was confirmed that the Spice Girls would be filming a music video the following week. A world exclusive screening of the video of "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)", which launched the run up to Children in Need Night, aired on BBC One on Friday November 2.

A promotional single was released in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which was limited to 100 copies and was only obtainable by winning it of a radio station.

Critical Responses[]
The song received mixed to negative views, with most saying that they disliked it:
- Guardian Newspaper gave a negative review stating that the song had "entirely forgettable melody and lyrics that go around in circles..."
- CBBC Newsround mentions that the song is pretty catchy, but it was hard to distinguish between the vocals of "Mel C and Emma", which they concluded that they had a "fight on their hands to make it to number one." They gave the song 3 out of 5 stars.
- Radio 1's Chart Show Blog gave it a neutral view complimenting on some lines of the song such as "I wanna tell the world I'm giving it all to you". They also gave the songs 3 out of 5 stars.
- Gossip Columnist Perez Hilton commented on his blog, "Let's play a game. It's called: can you guess which part (if any) Victoria is singing???"

Austria The song debuted and peaked at Number 67 on November 21, 2007.
Bulgaria The single first debuted at 39 in their Top 40 charts on the 11th November 2007 and dropping off the charts.
Canada In Canada's Singles Top 100 they first appeared and peaked at 42 on November 24th, 2007 before falling off the charts completely.
Germany In Germany's Singles Top 100, the song first appeared and peaked at 46 on December 3rd, 2007.
Ireland The single debuted and peaked at 29 in the Ireland Singles Top 50 on November 22nd, 2007, and then dropping down to 45 the week after, and out of the charts the week after.
Italy The single first debuted at 11 on 16th November 2007 and peaked at 2 on the 21st November 2007 in the Top 20.
Netherlands In the Dutch Top 100 the song peaked at 52.
Spain The single first charted on 29th November 2007 at 3 which was their peak and keeping consistent in the week after as they retained their Number 3 position.
Sweden In Sweden, it received 2 weeks of success on first appearing and peaking at 3 on the 15th November 2007 but dropped to 25 the week after.
UK First seen at 20 on the UK charts on the 17th November 2007 selling 7,000 copies on downloads alone, before peaking at 11 on the 1st December 2007 with sales of 10,277 copies, thus making this the least successful single as all other singles in the UK to have peak within the Top 2. This is their second single to not have made it to the Number 1 spot, as well as being the lowest-selling single with sales so far of 48,956 altogether.
US Due to minor airplay, video and song streaming, this song peaked only at 90 in the Billboard Hot 100 Chart on the November 24th, 2007.
World This single became a commercial failure as the single only got into the Top 10 in only 5 countries. The song peaked on World Singles Top 40 at 38 on December 8, 2007, then dropping two positions down to 40 the week after. The song then dropped out of the charts completely.
