Madame Tussauds is a wax museum in London with branches in a number of major cities. It was set up by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud. It was formerly spelled "Madame Tussaud's", but the apostrophe is no longer used.

Spice Girls[]

The Spice Girls have been immortalised into wax figures within the museum. Their original Wax figures were unveiled to the public on Friday, 17 December, 1999 at the Rock Circus in London. [[1]] After The Rock Circus closed, the original wax figures were sent to Madame Tussauds Amsterdam and are still there now. A second and third set of figures of Victoria, Mel B, Mel C and Emma were made for Madame Tussauds New York and Madame Tussauds Berlin and are also still there.

Geri sadly left the year before meaning her wax figure was not made alongside the other members in 1999. Eventually, she had her wax figure made in 2002. It was nearly melted down after a couple of years but that was ultimately decided against. [[2]]

The original wax figure of Geri is now displayed in Madame Tussauds Berlin alongside wax figures of the other Spice Girls. Another figure of Geri was made for Madame Tussauds Amsterdam and was placed next to the original wax figures of Victoria, Mel B, Mel C and Emma from 1999, in a similar outfit.

There are currently no 5-piece Spice Girls Wax figures in the Madame Tussauds London Museum. However, there is a solo one of Victoria there alongside her husband David Beckham.

Veteran and Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren has been had her waxwork done, and hoped it would be placed next and to the statue of Victoria Beckham, which she added that she would be "honoured" if it was:

"I hope I'm put near Posh because I happen to love Posh. Mind you I'm going to be a bit chunky next to Posh! She's a great girl so I'd be honoured to be put next to her."
